Account Executive/Lab Sales

Position Description
Our client is the market leader in furniture and space solutions. Our client is experiencing tremendous growth, and is adding a new position for an Outside Sales professional for the Lab Division in Raleigh, NC. The sales professional is responsible for:
Sell Lab products and services to potential buyers, typically through single, project based transactions. Represent company and its products and services to owners, architects, lab planners, and general contractors to influence specifications and product selection for our common client corporations. Build and manages relationships with key buyers and others with the objective of establishing trust and ongoing relationships.
Provide clients with technical support and consulting during their planning and implementation of laboratory projects. Collaborate with specialized sales personnel, designers, project managers, and manufacturer’s representatives during specification and order fulfillment process.
Prepares and submits formal pricing and bids for client approval. Gain commitments from clients for orders. Communicate project details to team members for successful completion.
Responsible for delivering profitability from sales revenue to assigned customer team. Regularly meets or exceeds sales goals. Prepares accurate projections and provides forecast information for planning purposes. Promotes a positive team environment and participates in meetings and training.
Education
Candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university or equivalent work experience.
Experience Prerequisites
The qualified candidate will have experience in a sales role with a superior track record of winning business in competitive and demanding corporate marketplace. This individual will have experience working with complex products in an environment where each sale is completely different from the last.
He/she will have been successful in building and maintaining key internal and external relationships. His/her understanding of sales processes and relationship-building will have increased customer satisfaction and their company’s profitability. A proven track record in speedy customer response is required. The finalist will have been successful in balancing objectives with customer needs.
