Senior Analyst/Programmer is needed for a High Point, NC Company. Candidate will utilize established analytical and programming skills to develop and support integrated applications. Typical assignments require the candidate to organize and lead a single, large to complex, application project. Individuals inthis position may also be assigned similar roles associated with the implementation and support of packaged software applications. Candidate will be required to be knowledgeable of the business processes within the area(s) of the business he/she supports and to apply that knowledge in the analysis, design and implementation of solutions. Candidate is required to perform the analysis of multiple processes/applications and coordinate project efforts as well as develop program specifications, programming, documentation, user training, problem management, implementation, and support activities. Individual is expected to serve as the analyst during systems analysis and design as well as the programmer on development work.
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS degree in Computer Science or applicable professional certifications
* 6+ years of experience
* Experience in three or more of the following application development technologies such as development languages, .Net, RPG400, Cobol, Basic, Intelligence. Supporting middleware software and services (e.g. ETL tools) database platforms Informix, SQL Essbase, DB2/400, Oracle) business applications (e.g. Lawson, BAAN, Hyperion), and applications (MFG, Shop Floor, BOM, and Product Cost).
* Project Management experience in organizing singe large complex.
